That is one mean, flying kicking, ninja cow. Or could be also be an angry bull. I hope the victim didn’t take it too seriously and recovered.

Giant crocodile captured
Villagers of Consuelo, near the town of Bunawan in the Philippines, have captured what may be the largest crocodile ever caught. At 21 feet (or 6.4 meters) long, it is about 3 feet more than the longest confirmed croc in captivity.
Weighing in at a dinosaurus 2,369 pounds (1,075 kilograms), the monster crocodile may have been responsible for at least two deaths and numerous attacks on humans.
Lolong, as the people call it, has yet to have its length confirmed, but anywhere above 18 feet is a real record. The good thing is, it hasn’t been killed and gutted, as is usually the case for suspected killer crocs.
As for why it may have resorted to killing humans, the loss of habitat caused by humans and the subsequent depletion of food sources, may have caused it to turn on us. And there’s still a real possibility that the actual killer is bigger and still on the loose.
Real life Smurf mushroom
Blue isn’t a common color in nature. That’s probably why this blue mushroom from New Zealand looks so attractive and made up.
And no, it isn’t really something out of the Smurfs movie. Entoloma hochstetteri or Sky Blue Mushroom is a real form of fungus that thrives in the land of the Kiwis.
Or maybe that’s just what they tell you and actually it is a Smurf “appendage”. Anything this blue has to have something to do with Smurfs. via
The art of extreme planking
Planking is a recently developed art form where people honor Darwin’s theory by trying to remove themselves from the gene pool. They do this by acting as a human plank in usually dangerous locations.
At least one person has succeeded in taking their own life via planking and many others have lost their jobs because of it. Trust the Australians to come up with such a safe and useful art.
Here are some extreme planking pics.

Don’t they have regulations in the military for this sort of thing? Or was the tank just parked somewhere in public?

You’d have to be nuts to do something like that. Spit-roasted idiot anyone?

This almost qualifies for the first Darwin award given to a group of people.

Yikes. Some bridges move significantly when trucks and heavy traffic passes by.
Tiny Earth vs Betelgeuse
Actually tiny is still too big a word. Saw this size comparison of Earth, the planets, the sun and other stars a while ago, but it still bewilders the mind every time.
Our Sun is already quite an awesome thing to witness. Wonder what it would be like to see the other giant stars, like S Doradus or KY Cygni, up close. via
