We Serve Vegetarians

First a post about having kids and now a sign at a restaurant about serving vegetarians. An excellent time to consider trying out cannibalism. Soylent Green anyone?

Am not too keen on feeding on vegetarians. They make some good arguments for choosing to be. It’s vegans I want to see stuffed, roasted and served on a platter.

Ostrich in colon

Puns aside, humans are pretty scary underneath that protective layer of skin.

Still, makes one wonder what ostrich meat taste like? Anybody ever tried it? Like everything else, does it also taste like chicken?

What a way to honor the 3D release of Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace. The Darth Vader Burger (or Dark Vador in French) is one of a series of burgers by the French fast food chain, Quick.

There’s also the Dark Burger, fashioned after Darth Maul, and a Jedi Burger. One can only imagine what these might do to your poop.

This should be quite useful if you are planning to have children anytime soon. First thing to remember is that as great as they are, you probably shouldn’t have too many.

And don’t forget the gravy. It really helps wash them down and can even help prevent indigestion.

Spoonachos

The problem with those delicious nachos is that their shape makes it a little difficult to enjoy the whole piece with the dipping of your choice. You get left with a wide piece that you’ll have to double-dip.

Enter the Spoonachos.

These nachos are shaped like spoons so you can scoop up your favorite salsa sauce and eat it in one go.

The Spoonachos come stacked in a box (much like Pringles) and are the perfect size for a single bite.

You’ve heard of gunpowder tea. Now get a very cool Gun Teapot to serve it in. Just don’t freak out your guests too much. Who knows, the sight of a black gun handle sticking out of a teapot could cause them to panic.

Pineapple or Ananas?

Yes, I know, many Spanish speakers call it piña, but many, for example in Argentina, use ananá instead. And a number of languages not mentioned here use “ananas” (Indonesian, Tamil, Urdu, Slovene to name a few).

So does English rule or what? via

Blood Type Compatibility Table

Blood types can get a little confusing. Is AB the universal donor or is it O? What’s with the negative and positive blood groups? More importantly, who can give blood to your particular type. This chart should prove very helpful.

If you’re in Japan, your blood type could be a major factor in deciding who you’ll end up with so do give it some thought.
