Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori creates these realistic sculptures of fish by meticulously painting the fish on layers of resin. Had me fooled.
When I first saw the pictures, I thought someone was boiling the poor things in oil. Then thought actual fish were encased in resin. Quite surprised that they weren’t real and it’s just paint.

Imagine the time and effort he must have put in to create something this exquisite. Amazing work.
