This weird-looking wooden structure recently appeared in Northumberland as part of an initiative to provide natural seating and shelter. An early prototype (and a very bad one at that) of the Trojan Horse is more like it.
I think they could have done much better than a giant head with a gaping mouth and built something more natural and soothing, but the kids seem to love it and not many people seem to have complaints against it. link
