Putting the fun back in web surfing
That’s one little puppy you’ll think twice about petting. This dog is enormous and the photo seems authentic. The dog owner is pretty cute too.
Wonder what it takes to get a dog to grow to such a huge size. Selective dog breeding? A special diet? Growth hormones? Or maybe a combination of these? via.
So it wasn’t really Saruman and his thugs that took over the Shire. Or maybe it’s just been so long. In any case, present-day Hobbiton has been overrun by hordes of sheep.
Ok, so this isn’t the Shire from the books, but to most people, especially fans of the Lord of the Rings movies, this is the real deal, since a number of beautiful scenes were filmed here.
These dream houses were built especially for the movie trilogy at Matamata, New Zealand, and are now inhabited by sheep from a nearby farm. What I would have given to live the good life here. Sheep or no sheep. link
