Chocolate coated iPad

Here’s a delightful treat for all you chocolate lovers who also happen to be crazy about Apple products. This Apple iPad was covered in chocolate and gifted to his wife by Stefan Magdalinksi.

The look of awe on her face is worth seeing and more photos of this unusual, amazing event can be found here. The iPad came out in perfect working condition and the chocolate must have been quite delicious, making this a double treat.

Lego brick made out of concrete

We know how strong something made out of the small Lego bricks can be. Imagine how much fun and stability can be had if you used life-sized concrete Lego bricks for constructing buildings.

I wonder why we weren’t using these before. Are they too difficult to manufacture? Does the design reduce their practicality at these larger sizes? Patent violations maybe?

Even more amazing would be do-it-yourself car bodies that you can make from lego-like material and just put on top of the engine and the rest of the mechanical parts.

Cut here jewelry

The Cut here jewelry will appeal to two types of people. Those with suicidal/masochistic tendencies and those who are in the habit of defying and standing up to the world.

Think carefully before you wear this jewelry, or at least take it off before going to sleep so that nobody has the urge to take a pair of scissors to it. It looks pretty awesome and novel though.

We have been conditioned so much to cut along dotted lines that looking at this jewelry, you might start cutting away without even realizing it. Maybe you can gift it to someone you really hate.

Cool pencil sculptures

What do you get when you cross hundreds of pencils, a few pencil sharpeners, a little glue and lots and lots of free time? Yup, cool looking, pointy sculptures like these.

This one in the picture looks somewhat like a dog, though could as well be any other quadruped. The sharpened pencil ends give it a pretty intimidating, armor-like appearance.

I guess you don’t really need a lot of pencils for these since you could divide one up into many ends and use those for the sculptures. Still lots of sharpening required. Maybe an electronic sharpener would help.

Perfect fitting cardboard box

If you knew how much space and energy we waste when shipping stuff in square boxes, you’d start delivering stuff in person. So what you need is this special box that wraps around your object perfectly.

Sure, it looks like a body bag from the photo, but the Universal Packaging System, or UPS, is a design by Patrick Sung that wraps around your object, thanks to being divided into small triangles which give it flexibility.

On second thought, the uneven shape is probably less efficient to stack and in the end, it might end up wasting even more energy. The packing would be more time consuming as well. Still cool to see it and should work very well for very odd-shaped objects.

Amazing fire dance

So, how many of you like to play with fire? If you do, you might want to try a fire dance such as the one in this amazing shot.

Looks like some sort of teleporter or a shield made of swirling fire that will incinerate anything that dares to approach it. Whatever it is, it is magical.

Captivating fire dance photos

And please remember to use a slow shutter speed when taking the photos. Amazing what you can achieve with minor adjustments to your camera settings.

Fairytales come to life

Here are some beautiful pictures of various scenes from fairytales and folklore. The exquisite photo shoots bring to life such story characters as Snow White, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood.

The use of colors, lots of pale and white with a bit of red or other brighter shades thrown in, gives a magical feel to the real-life sets.
