Calorie burning Coke

Feeling bad about the calories you consume from a can of Cola? Get ready for Coke Burn and lose 500 calories just by gulping it down.

Made from seawater and various exotic ingredients, the drink is formulated so that each can burns up to 500 calories instead of adding to your already bloated intake.

You’ll have to wait a while though. Coke Burn is just a concept at the moment, one of many innovative ideas that are expressed as advertisements here. Love the mutant fruits and vegetables, though I really want to try a Tomacco some day.

Outdoor fireplace

The Outdoor Fireplace is a creation of Haugen/Zohar Architects that was inspired by traditional Norwegian huts. It is an enclosed structure that is still pretty open and creates a soothing and beautiful effect.

Outdoor pine fireplace

The structure is made out of pieces of wood arranged in circles with gaps in between and a chimney-like opening at the top. Great for a cozy campfire gathering and you don’t even have to worry about bear attacks (though polar bears and elephants will have no trouble tearing through it).

Insanely thin buildings from Japan

Japan has some of the thinnest buildings in the world and you have to wonder how anyone can even step inside them, let alone spend time inside. I wonder what they could be used for, besides punishing the chikans or storing chinpokomons.

Take this one for example. I don’t see how you can fit a bed (ok, mattress), table or even a chair in there. You’d think that with all the earthquakes, they’d make bigger buildings that would add to the stability.

iPad Supreme Gold Edition

There are 10 extremely lucky people in the world who first of all, have money to burn and secondly, are selected to own an iPad Supreme, an iPad made out of gold and studded with diamonds. This can truly be called a golden apple.

The special edition iPad has been carefully crafted by Stuart Hughes out of 53 diamonds for the Apple logo and 22 carat gold for the casing. The cost? Just $189,000, the equivalent of selling your soul to the devil.

I wonder if the deal includes free upgrades. (via)

Hidden image illusion

Name the hidden image. First person to get the right answer gets to be set free, as a bird. Not that difficult to get this, but at first glance, all you’re likely to see are parallel bars.

Don’t try too hard though. The stress on your eyes and your brain might induce nausea, vomiting or even seizures.

Australia’s Whitehaven beach

The Whitehaven beach in Queensland, Australia, the result of bits of coral from the Great Barrier Reef, is the place to be if you’re looking for the perfect beach and a perfect getaway.

The coral has been eroded and deposited here over millions of years, forming a vast and beautiful area of pure bliss, one of nature’s best seaside resorts.

Odor removing metal soap

Here’s one investment that’ll last a lifetime and will keep your hands free from those dreaded onion, garlic and fish odors. The Stainless Steel Soap does sound pretty amazing and is a weird, but somehow effective little gadget. Just rub under running cold water and the odors will magically disappear.

We’re unable to find any explanation on how it works, but it just does. Probably one of those amazingly simple designs left to us by aliens long ago and covered up by the secret society that rules earth.
