Sand and earth art

Sand and earth art

Mar 27, 2010

Forget crop circles or the Nazca Lines in Peru. Jim Denevan creates breathtaking, albeit temporary, art by drawing on vast stretches of sand and earth.

Lasting for just a few days, or even hours, his masterpieces are truly amazing and can only be truly appreciated from a bird’s eye view, high above.

Must require a lot of planning and preparation. Or maybe he gets a helping hand from all those aliens that keep experimenting on my cows. via

  1. When I was a kid, we went out and made crop circles in the fields. People were scared to death. It was hillarious.
