This mass of tentacles washed up on a beach in Wales and was over 6ft long. It could just be a log covered with barnacles or a horrific creature of the deep, looking for some humans to suck on.
Goose barnacles often cling together, forming masses like this one, but first time we’ve found such a strange thing. Check out the rest of the pictures.
