A lemon-flavored fizzy drink is being launched in Russia to mark the 67th anniversary of the victory in the battle of Stalingrad for the Soviet Union.
The World War II battle was one of the bloodiest in history, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives on both sides. Maybe a monument would have been a more somber and more appropriate homage, but one must admire the spirit of the Russians.
The drink will feature the picture of Josef Stalin and two other prominent Soviet commanders from WWII. Wonder what it’ll taste like.
