You're right jg. Exercise is a must, but unfortunately for most people, that's something unthinkable. In such a case, it's better to cut down on sugar going in, simple or complex, than to let it store up in the body.

As for the photograph, yes; it seems to be taken by a complete amateur.

Um, to poster, learn how to take a picture. There is a thing called focus.
To everyone else, this is a solid sugar representing the amount of high fructose corn syrup is in pepsi.
And actually, that much sugar isn't bad. Look at how many cups of sugar you put in Cool-Aide!!! Whats in the picture looks about to be no more than 2 tablespoons. One can a day even if it is two tablespoons isn't going to hurt you.
You get more sugar from eating starches because that breaks down into sugar in your body.
High Fructose corn Syrup I have never heard you need the liver to break down, since it is already a simple sugar. Diet drinks that have aspartame and other fake sugars are harder on the liver than any sugar is.
You're doing more damage with the caffeine than you are with the sugars. Diet alone will not promote weight loss, only using the stored energy in your body will, in other words exercise. You can eat practically anything you want, sugar or carb-wise, as long as you burn those calories off, by working out, or being an active person.

So true. High-fructose corn syrup that's used in almost all drinks is so much more fattening and in pretty high doses as well.

At least you don't need the liver to digest that sugar. Unlike high-fructose corn syrup.
