How many table lamps have you broken by knocking them down? This bowling pin lamp is one that requires being knocked down to function.
Keep it upright to have it lit and when you’re done, just knock it over and it’ll switch off. Cool little thing.
Personally, I think it should be the other way around. Instead of fumbling for the fallen bowling pin in the dark, you hit the standing pin for light and turn it upright when you’re done.
