These cool shades are specially made for the Japanese military and retail for $317 each. And for good reason.
A 0.3″ object, traveling at 106mph, will not shatter these and they’ll survive a 500g piece of iron dropped on them.
I hope they don’t scratch easily. That’s the biggest issue that I usually face with mine, but the Japanese military probably have bigger things to worry about. Not that they see much action these days.
