The lucky winner for the best job in the world contest has been selected and it is Ben Southall from Southern England.
Ben was one of the 16 finalists who were invited to Australia from the roughly 4,000 candidates that applied for the job.
The idea to offer the best job in the world was part of a campaign to generate publicity for the recession-hit tourism industry.
The stunt was so wildly successful that the website for the contest crashed after launch and it is estimated that an equivalent of $110 million in publicity has been generated.
Enjoy the work (and play) Ben.
