Felted sushi

Felted sushi

We should rename this site to something like “Sushi World”. As you may have guessed by now, we here at Xerxy really love our sushi and want to see it everywhere.

Sadly, we love eating it and all these lego sushi and sushi pillows just aren’t satisfying enough.

Here’s more inedible, but still beautiful sushi.

Chicago River on St. Patrick’s Day

Green Chicago River on St. Patrick's Day

This is a beautiful shot of Chicago River which is dyed green every year on St. Patrick’s Day.

The ingredients of the dye are kept secret, but are safe for the river and its inhabitants. This year, the First Lady, a Chicago native, also had the White House fountains dyed green for the occasion.

Man bites Python

Bitten python

Ben Nyaumbe, a Kenyan farm manager, was able to escape the death grip of a python after biting it and calling for help.

He was attacked by the python while on a walk and was pulled up into a tree where they struggled with each other for hours.

A python wraps itself around its victims and once you’re in its grip, you have no chance and it’ll squeeze until you die of asphyxiation. Amazing that this guy did what he did and lived to tell about it.

Alien baby sweater

Alien baby

For the love of God woman, wipe that smile off and watch out for that scary alien baby ripping out of your body.

That’s a very unique, holy sweater. I wonder if it has openings for the arms.

And they should make one with more holes so you can have multiple faces jutting out of your torso.

Possible Batman villains

Emily Blunt as Poison Ivy

A really nice mock casting of famous actors as Batman villains, including the gorgeous Emily Blunt as Poison Ivy. Doesn’t she look perfect for the part?

Other fun selections include Viggo Mortensen as The Joker (though it is highly doubtful that anyone, even Viggo, could live up to the late Heath Ledger’s immortal performance).

Rosario Dawson as Catwoman would be interesting and I’d love to see Kevin Grevioux (the big bad werewolf guy from the Underworld movies) as Killer Croc.

How about Steve Buscemi as the Riddler? He’s a little creepy, but hard to picture his voice as that of a master villain.

Speaking of casting, it may be time they started looking for a new Batman. Christian Bale’s dark knight is perfect, but with him popping up in everything from Sci-Fi movies to Westerns, we may just start to get sick of him.

Maybe it’s about time they showed some diversity in the franchise, especially for the part of Bruce Wayne/Batman. How about getting Will Smith to take a shot at it?

They could even have Jet Li come in as Robin and Aishwarya Rae as the Bat Girl.

Any more bright ideas?
