The fourth installment in the Terminator franchise, Terminator Salvation, is set for its Spring 2009 release on May the 22nd. Despite the poor performance of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, this one looks to restore the glory of the first two. That too, without Schwarzenegger, the driving force behind the first Terminator’s success.
Newly revealed photos show it to be a dark and awesome movie with lots of great special effects. And it has Christian Bale in it. He has been getting quite a lot of heat lately because of a released audio clip where he is caught badmouthing the photography director on the set of the movie, but then again bad publicity is still publicity.
Whereas the originals were focused on the present, Terminator Salvation takes us to the future where most civilization as we know it, has been destroyed and humans are fighting for their survival.
They managed to revive the Batman series with Christian Bale in the lead. They may just be able to do the same with the Terminator one. Will look forward to seeing this one on the biggest screen.
Terminator is such a good franchise to be in. Movies, toys, clothes – anything with terminator on it is a hit. Can’t wait for the new movie to come out.
Even though i’m not a big fan of the franchise but I cat wait to watch this one
