Despite the picture-perfect oath-taking ceremony on the 20th, President Obama (gee, that really sounds good) made a small mistake which had to be corrected by retaking the oath on Wednesday.

The simple mistake was actually made by the chief justice when he asked Obama to repeat “I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully” instead of “I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States” which is the way it is written in the constitution.

I hope this doesn’t mean that he can’t be sworn in as president a third time (after re-election in 2012).
