The Dark Knight
Warner Bros has decided not to release The Dark Knight in China due to cultural insensitivity in the Christopher Nolan movie, based on the Batman character. Why so serious?
The movie is offensive to clowns (and to mass murderers maybe), but I didn’t see anything else wrong with it. Was it because one of the baddies was from Hong Kong? Or maybe it’s because all the gadgets were made in China?
The truly insensitive thing is being done right now. Depriving the people of China of the joy of watching this awesome movie.
I think Iron Man was more entertaining though
Iron Man was cool. But Dark Knight was dark. Can’t beet the kind of violence and humor it had
People in China will not appreciate the coolness. Not a bad decision.
